Philippe Richert
Philippe Richert (born 22 May 1953) is a French politician and Minister for Local authorities under the Minister of Interior, Overseas, Local authorities and Immigration since 14 November 2010. He was a member of the Senate of France, representing the Bas-Rhin department. He is a member of the Union for a Popular Movement. He was elected President of the Regional Council of Alsace following the 2010 regional election in France.
